FAQ
Do I need prior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) experience?
This training is designed for all levels, from first-timers to seasoned practitioners. Instruction focuses on concepts, positioning, leverage, and decision-making—not memorizing complex moves.
What if I have injuries or physical limitations?
All instructors prioritize injury awareness, modifications, and self-paced participation. You are encouraged to work within your body’s limits. There is no pressure to perform or push beyond what feels safe.
Is this about proficiency or just exposure?
The goal is to give you usable skills, confidence, and understanding, not to certify you or overwhelm you. You’ll walk away knowing what works, why it works, and when to apply it—so future training actually sticks.
Is this event only about physical skills?
This experience blends physical tactics, mental resilience, wellness education, leadership development, and real conversations about what it means to be a woman in law enforcement—now and long-term.
Are there nearby hotels or accommodations?
Yes. There are many hotel options within minutes of the venue, ranging from budget-friendly to upscale. Attendees will receive a recommended hotel list after registration.
Will I feel out of place if I don’t “fit the mold”?
No—this space was created because many women don’t.
You’ll be in a room with women who are driven, curious, capable, and honest about growth. No posturing. No proving. Just learning, connection, and elevation.
